BIS Certification Registration

 Any organisation involved in manufacturing, assembly, or service provision based in India or abroad can apply for BIS certification. It must be a legally recognised entity and provide documents verifying the business's name and address. Those organizations are subject to BIS verification.  

• ISI Mark Certification
  For domestic manufacturers to prove product conformity to Indian Standards (compulsory for items like cement, steel, and electrical appliances). 
• Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS)
  For electronic and IT products under the Electronics and IT Goods (Requirement for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2012 (e.g., LED lights, mobile phones, power adapters). 
• FMCS (Foreign Manufacturer Certification Scheme)
  For foreign manufacturers exporting to India. Mandatory for a range of items listed under the BIS FMCS scheme.
